You know, if you was talking about another series I'd get it, but as you yourself demonstrated, there's so many of the songs already shown as being canonical, why then presume that because the others weren't explicitly shown that they aren't? A pattern has been shown, it makes more sense to think that pattern would hold true than for it to otherwise follow through with how it usually is for other IP's

Truth be told, I don't even think these movies are a terrible adaptation... to reach that level, I would have to actually consider them adaptations of the games at all. What they are instead is OC fanfiction about a man's real life anime waifu fantasies, and some story elements are just lifted wholesale from an intellectual property unfortunate enough to have picked him as a showrunner.

I know it feels weird how characters are still alive even after their souls are taken, but I believe there’s a relatively simple explanation for that. My head canon is that when absorbing their victims soul a character may intentionally keep the victim alive to serve some greater purpose. So in Liu Kangs case, he absorbs his past self’s soul to absorb his power but keeps him alive to prevent himself from being erased. Same thing goes with Raiden and Fujin to harvest their power for future time lines. My evidence for this is that in both prior. My evidence is that both prior cases are given some sort of pre-justification or at least implied justification, whereas with Shao Khan and Twindel for example, their souls are more useful to Shang dead than alive. Still doesn’t explain how keeping a soulless victim alive is even possible, but still. As for Kronika, my theory is that as the god of time she absorbs Cetrions soul differently than Shang Tsung does, as she utilizes her own powers rather than sorcery. We even see this in aftermath as Shang Stung absorbs Kronika into him.

Dear 4th snake, I am on the final page(not chapter) of Mortal Kombat Onslaught, and I just realized how some important characters like Sub Zero and Liu Kang don’t have chapters in the game. Then I did a little more research and analyzing and then I thought about how certain chapters could have been better for other characters(Ex: Ch6 Sonya-> Ch6 Liu Kang) or that some chapters could have been given to any character( Ex: Ch4 Jax). I wanted to know if I am just salty that my favorite character didn’t get a chapter or if I actually have a good point.

I think Scorpion current voice actor aka Jin Sakai in Ghost of Tsushima could stay as Scorpion unless he doesn’t come back due to Ghost of Tsushima sequels or other roles he gets. I do like the idea of the 2 voice actors being married irl and in game.

Well I'm glad I am not the only weirdo who plays with AI chatbots. Roleplay is fun and seeing how far they're able to go to make a decent story is interesting. I find it can give some writing ideas too. I usually prefer OCs though, so it's fun to watch some stuff that's supposed to act a certain way.
